Illustration – Gardenparty / Save the Date

Ich hatte die Ehre für meinen Bruder und seine Frau die Gestaltung ihrer Hochzeit zu übernehmen, dies umfasste neben Einladungskarten auch Wunderkerzen-Halter, Taschentuch-Etiketten, einen Stempel und ein Logo, dass auf dem irischen Claddagh-Ring beruht.

Die dafür entworfene Illustration nebst Varianten sollte die Stimmung einer Gartenfeier aufgreifen und beinhaltet zwei Ghibli-Referenzen (da ihre Katzen nach Ghibli-Charakteren benannt sind).

I had the honour to do the design of my brother’s wedding, this included invitation cards, sparkler holders, tissue labels, a stamp and a logo that’s based on the Irish Claddagh ring.

The illustration and it’s variants was supposed to evoke the mood of a garden party and has to secret Studio Ghibli references (since their cats are named after Ghibli characters.
