Illustration zu diversen Mythen über Amseln:

Oben links ist die Legende von Kevin von Glendalough, der so tief meditiert haben soll, dass eine Amsel ihr Nest in seiner Hand gebaut und darin gebrütet hat.

Oben rechts: Ein Haus, in dem eine Amsel weilt, wird nicht vom Blitz getroffen (siehe Wikipedia).

Unten rechts: Der Landesname „Kosovo“ könnte „Feld der Amseln“ bedeuten, nach einer Legende sollen die Seelen von serbischen Soldaten, die auf diesem Feld gestorben sind als Amseln davongeflogen sein (selber Wikipedia-Artikel).
