Though that is one of these things you can’t really call »illustration« because you have almost no room for any interpretation I had a vivid image in my mind and though it would be fun to just do it.
I am not going to participate since ifreelance.com is one of those sites that not only fuck up the design-business by making it possible for people to get stuff designed for unbelievable low prices – we have these kind of sites in Germany too, like 12designer or designenlassen – but at least the German sites don’t requiere the designers to pay just for an account* (huh, just saw the guy posted an e-mail-address, maybe I’ll send it to him anyway).
Well, as it has been said on fontblog, people making entries in sites like these deserve to get shit for the no-money they want to spend. Of course there are situations – as maybe the one above – were you just don’t have any money you can give. But especially if you are in the creative industry there should be solutions for that. I think it is quite normal to design t-shirts or booklets for small bands and they give you some merchandise, free entry to a show, a dvd or whatever.
Anyway, I had fun doing this and I am sure that that is completley not what this guy wants since I largely dared to ignore his suggestions (moon, media, insects etc.…):
*Coming to think of it: I have no idea if there is a fee on the German sites, I never bothered trying to sign up.

Mittwoch, Mai 26th, 2010Wow, sogar die Zeit hat erkannt, daß Buffy immerhin besser (= feministisch emanzipierter) war als diese sexistische Kackscheiße mit der Stephanie Meyer dem Vampir-Mythos das antut was Adolf mit seiner verkackten Ideologie den nordischen Mythen angetan hat.
Man wird sich wahrscheinlich für alle Zeiten rechtfertigen müssen, daß man kein Nazi ist oder den Schund von Stephanie Meyer gutheißt, wenn man was mit Vampiren oder Thor macht.

Hihi, schaut mal, was ich grade wiedergefunden habe (allein der rosa Ladebalken mit völligem Zahlenwirrwarr … ^___^): eine Studienarbeit aus den ersten Semestern zum Thema Hieronymus Bosch, die ich immer zu verdrängen versuche, weil die Bildrechte natürlich gestohlen sind.
Wie auch immer, ist kann man als meinen ersten Versuch zum Thema E-learning begreifen.

Dylan Dog wird verfilmt
Mittwoch, Januar 27th, 2010Ich bin ja großer Dylan Dog-Fan, bin mir aber nicht so wirklich sicher ob ich das toll finden soll: der Film wird Dead of the Night heißen, die Schauspieler, Drehbuchschreiber und der Regisseur sagen mir erstmal nichts. Bis es soweit ist, kann man sich erstmal mit der anderen quasi-Dylan Dog-Verfilmung Dellamorte Dellamore (Englischer Titel Cemetery Man! Yay!) begnügen, der auf einem Roman des Dylan Dog-Erfinders Tiziano Sclavi beruht und dessen Hauptrolle Rupert Everett, das Vorbild für das visuelle Erscheinungsbild Dylan Dogs, spielt. Den guten Trailer von Youtube kann man nicht einbinden und bei dem hier hat mal wieder jemand des Seitenverhältnis versaut.* Deswegen wird hier jetzt aus Protest den Trailer von City of the Living Dead eingebunden, den uns Imdb über die Leute, die in diesem Film mitgespielt haben, spielten auch in diesem Film mit-Funktion beschert hat. Classic!
*Aber bei 0:12 gibt’s eine wunderschöne Hommage an Böcklins Totensinsel!
